Floating Island Lake

The Utah State record Tiger Trout was caught by Scott Tanner in a lake called Floating Island. Can anyone tell me anything about this lake???

This is located down in Sevier County somewhere. Unsure exactly where.

Floating Island is a nice small lake, with a "floating island" (thus the name). It has had tiger trout for a number of years. I can't really say that it hold more of the same caliber fish that the state record fish was, but it should have some nice fish still. There are a number of other nice lakes in the area.

Was there anything else you would like to know about this lake?

1000 Lake's Mtn. Go to topozone.com and do a search for Meek's Lake. You should see it.
