does anybody know where i can get some tru-turn hooks with bait holder barbs on them al i can seem to find are smooth shank also what size circle hooks would be good for trout ive been told they almost set themselfs

sportmen's has the tru-turn hooks.. as for the circle hooks you just have to mach the size of hook to the bait your useing.. small bait small hook big bait big hook and so on.. one thing with circle hooks you have to rember is you dont jerk your pole to set the hook.. as you get a bite you pick up the pole and slowly sweep it tell you feel the fish fighting and start reeling it in.. if you give it a sharp jerk like a regler hook it will just pop out of the fishes mouth.. i use circle hook with minnows because they dont get down and gut hook fish to often.. most hook up's you get with a circle hook are in the side of the mouth.. they are great for kidds just lurning to fish because they dont have to rember to jerk before reeling the fish in..all they have to do is pick up the pole and start reeling and the fish is hooked..

got some circle hooks at smith&edwards got a couple different sizes the gamagatsus were cheaper than the eagle claw surprised me cant wait to test them sunday and if i catch a fish ill go monday too thanks for youre help
