Silver Lake Flat Reservoir 09/15

Fishing wasn't too shabby, although only dinks were caught (8-10 inchers). I caught 10 and a mate of mine caught 6 bows. On the good side, 3 I caught weren't clipped and had brilliant colors, some naturals making a run for the circle of life up there! I did catch one with bad deformaties and signs of whirling disease. I didn't let him go but put the poor little fella out of his misery.

All were caught on spoons, spinners, and flies. I busted out my fly rods this trip and it paid off.

Do you know if dwr has any other reports of whirling disease in silver flats silver lake or tibble res.

No clue. I will e-mail someone, I wish I had my camera so I could take a photo of it. It had "issues".
