Pineview and Echo Ice fishing?

Are there still any Crappie left at pineview....a few years back we got a bucnh of them through the ice. Also....there are several books and documents that say there are Crappie in Echo....any truth to this or is it a misprint? Can't wait for ice-on!!

I haven't icefished Pineview for a few years. The last time I did, it was hard to even find a perch. I do icefish Echo and I have never seen a crappie come out of there no matter what time of year.

i love to fish echo thru the ice, but i have not seen a crappie come out of there yet. i have caught one in the weber river below echo, it was about 10 inches or so. but i think that fishing there twice a week, during the ice season, would produce at least one crappie. maybe not but i have heard that they are in there.
