Skunked at Woodruff Res.

I fished Woodruff for the first time today in my pontoon. I kicked all over that lake without a single bite. I was flyfishing with buggers, leeches, and nymphs. I have not been skunked in a long time. I have two theories....maybe I wasn't getting deep enough with just my type 2 line or the lower water has really affected the fishing. If I go again, I guess I'll have to bring my tubes jigs and spin rod. Any suggestions. By the way, I did not see any signs that lead to any reservoirs around there. It's a dirt road guessing game. I'd blame your bad luck on the full moon. At least that's what I would do.

myu buddy fished up there last week and didnt catch a thing! maybe its the moon... that is what i would blame. or the weather.

I camp Woodruff all summer and we haven't had luck this year at all.The last fish I caught out of there was through the ice last winter.
