You can always hit the narrows at Pineview and bounce tubes off teh rocks and catch sm. I try to avoid the area because most of the fish are smaller (convoluted thinking for a catch and release person) and usually fish some other spots for bigger fish. Fishing has been good in the narrows from the reports posted here and the people I have talked with - nothing with alot of size though.

From what I have seen and heard Willard stinks. I was going to launch there last weeked and it just didnt look promising at all - just a feeling you get sometimes when you look at the water.

I would recommend Pineview, hopefully it wont be sunny and 80 so the rec boaters wont show.

Dunno if you are launching or not, but the bluffs(cemetery point) ramp is closed for the season - their dock blew out.

Hey Ocean,

Pineview is picking up. Since the cold front fish activity has raised and I even have heard from sources that some crappie's are being caught. Go figure. Thought they would all be in the deeep deeeeeeep water hiding from the heat.

Last two trips out there have been very productive for perch, muskie, and smallmouth bass. Haven't had the opportunity to hit Willard at all this year. But reports have been spotty.
