[black]I stopped by Scofield today on the way back from Huntington. The south end had some ice on it south of the island. The rest of the lake was open water. Talked to some guys fishing they mentioned that there was ice on the edges in the morning but it had melted by noon. [/black]

[cool]Hey Jigg-N-It, I wanted to ice fish Scofield this Saturday also, and had planned on it, but now I'm not. I'm sure that by Saturday there will finally be at least an inch on it, but as for me and my family, we're goin' up to Hunington, so maybe I'll see ya up there. I'll have my radio on Ch. 12. I think Scofield should be ready the following weekend, or just before.[crazy]

I've got a buddy at work who is going up there this weekend, he said there was 2 inches of good ice and that was enough for 3 people, but not for me! I don't feel comfortable unless there is 6 inches of good ice, and then I'm OK! 2 inches is a little dicey for me! Good thing he said he was dragging his life preserver with him!

TubeDude and I drove by Scofield on the way home tonight, and there might have been 1/2" of ice on it in a few places, but most of it was wide open. I wouldn't plan on ice fishing it this Saturday.
