Out here in Utah the float tubing is pretty much done for the year, since most lakes are now iced over for the season. There are still one or two open, but it won't be long with all the cold weather we've been having before they're frozen too.

Yeah I think that was the first and only time I actually got out my float tube this year - dang that's pathetic. Haven't been fishing at all since the summer. [mad][shocked]
Only 9 credits next semester then I'm done -- I can see the light at the end of the tunnel -- I just hope it's not a freight train that's gonna barrel me over.

[cool][#0000ff]Okay wimp. Hit Jordanelle this morning. Air temp was 11 degrees and the water was 41 and falling. It was so foggy that TubeBabe and I could not see each other more than a long cast apart. It was pretty when the sun broke through, but then the cold wind came up and we were smart enough to get off the water while we could still feel some of our extremities.[/#0000ff]

[#0000ff]Oh yeah. Fishing was slow, but managed to bring home three red-meated little rainbows for the table.[/#0000ff]

Hey TD, not a bad haul of perfect eatin size bows. Yeah, even those you might have froze I'm definitely jealous. My father-in-law and I are going to hit Strawberry when it ices up and see if we can't bring a few home for the table. That'll be around Christmas probably, after this hellish semester is over with.

Okay, now I'm starting to get depressed. Then again, now is the time I like to go hit the Provo River. Less people and big fish on little flies.

The upper provo is nice for some good Cuts. That would be nice to take a tube down it though.[cool]
