Strawberry Ice conditions anyone?

I read a few other that hit the Berry, but in the bays that have plenty of ice. I also heard the entire lake has ice. How much? Anyone venture out or know any details. I know it's been cold lately and should stay that way!! I'm hoping to hit the Berry over the Christmas break with my kiddos! [cool]
