catch and release record question????

[]hey fellow anglers can anyone let me know what you have to do if you catch a record fish and want to release it, but get into the catch and release record book. if you know where i can get that information PLEASE let me know. any information would be great thank you

[]thanks RipNLips for the information. I was interested in the catch and release records because i love to fish but i'm not one to keep any fish unless i am going to have it mounted. it sure would be great to get into the record books. Thanks again
