Everyone be careful around the ladders at Strawberry. Friend of mine lost his 4 wheeler through thin ice. He and his 6 year old son managed to climb out quick. The 4 wheeler got pulled next day by divers. The ice by the shore was about 8 inches. It gets thin really quick out by the under water channel.
BE CAREFULL.

Thanks for the warning. That skinks that your buddy had to lose a quad however.

Sorry to hear about your friend, but he must not be familiar with The Ladders. Even in the coldest of years the ice in the channel area stays rather thin out a ways.

Thats got to be the worst imaginable situation. Glad to hear they made it out safely. There's no fish worth losing your bike over. My condolences to your friend.
