how much snow/slush on the berry? I want to ice some cuts tomorrow

Has anybody been up to the berry today? How is the slush and the snow. We are thinking about going up in the morning or late tonight to pull an all nighter.

After you read the other reports from Strawberry today and yesterday, you might want to rethink that decision, but if you go tomorrow, have fun in the slush, and I hope you have 4wd, or you might not make it up there. If you have a 4x4 you should be ok getting up there, just take your time.

There is alot of slush but you can miss the worst of it if you arrive at 7AM or so. The slush hasn't formed then yet since its frozen. Right now access to some of the good hot spots is damn near impossible to get to without a snomobile or ice shoes.

The Marina is your best bet chief.

HEY HUNT4BB TODAY WAS A BAD DAY UP THERE THE SNOW DID NOT STOP AND THE WIND DIDN'T EITHER. THE ROADS OFF HWY 40 WERE BAD . THE SLUSH WAS ABOUT 18" DEEP AND THE ICE WAS 14" THICK IN THE MARINA. THERE WAS A LOT OF ATV'S GETTING STUCK.YOU KNOW DIGGING AND LIFTING NOT FISHING. WELL GOOD LUCK TOMMROW.....[unsure]
