panguitch anyone?

anybody been to panguitch or know the ice conditions?

i talked to a friend that lives down that way about a week ago.. he said that there was safe ice on the lake and seen poeple ice fishing it.. so if your looking to go ice fishing there you should be ok..

I've fished it a couple times this year. I haven't been impressed with the fishing. The biggest fish I've seen pulled out was a 14" cut. The majority are 10 to 12" and the action was slow. I'm sure you can find a better place to fish, like Fish Lake.

Ya that road has been closed most of the year. It's the shortest route by 30 miles from Cedar.

It should be open if they can find the road in 60+" of fresh snow and snow drifts.
