I was wondering about the road into Current Creek Is it 4wd? Do they plow it in between storms? how long off highway is it? What is the fishing like(fast, slow, size)? And how is the access to the ICE(easy, hard)? Thanks in advance for any insight on this body of water I have never been there and I think i will give it a go this Sat.

They usually keep the CC road plowed to the dam in winter. However, it can take a while for them to get to it after a storm. I would probably wait after this recent storm. If it's plowed you can take the family station wagon in there. You will have a steep walk to the water off the dam if you can get in. The deep water by the dam is not the best place to fish. Walk to a bank with a gradual slope for the best fishing. If you can get in and get to a good spot, it should be fast fishing for 10 to 14 inch cutts. There are some bigger fish, but they are hard to find. I saw a ten pound trout come out last summer. Probably not worth driving past the Berry to get to CC in my opinion. Good Luck
