WHAT A TRIP.. LEFT SATURDAY AT 8 ARIVED IN TWINN FALLS AT 12,30 THAT STORM WAS BAD!!! ABOUT 40 SEMI,S OFF THE ROAD JACK NIFED AND ROLLOVERS. HIT THE SNAKE THE NEXT MOURNING. SWEET WEATHER ALL DAY. MISSED ABOUT 4 FISH BEFORE I GOT ONE HOOKED HANDED THE POLE TO MATT MY BUDDY AND THE FISH TOOK OFF. HE EYES GOT SO BIG HE SAID HOLLY STUFF WHAT THE HECK . ABOUT 40 MINS LATER HE LANDED THE FIRST 6 FOOTER. THEN I HOOKED UP AND STARTED IN ON MINE AN HR AND 15 MINS LATER MINE WAS LANDED 78 INCHES 6 AND 1/2 FEET 33 AROUND THE MIDLE. AFTER THAT THE BITE REALY SHUT DOWN. NO MOORE STURGINS THE LAST 3 HRS. THE NEXT MOURNING WE HIT SAMON CREEK DAM RES FOR SOME ICE FISHING. WE STARTED OF TWENTY FEET FROM THE BANK 40 YRDS FROM THE TRUCK EASY PULL FOR A CHANGE. AND THE RAINBOWS WERE REALY GETTING AFTER IT. AND FAT MAN ARE THESE BOWS FAT. WE ICED 23 RAINBOWS IN 4 HRS SMALLEST WAS 17 LAGEST WAS 23. ALL WERE SHAPED LIKE FOOT BALLS. WILL GET SOME PIC,S ON SOON. O AND DANM THERE ARE HUGE WALLEYES IN THIS RES!!!! I STOPED AT A GAS STATION NEER THE RES THERE WAS A SIGHN THAT SAID WALLEYE MUSEUM. SO YES I DID STOP TO LOOK. HOLLY CRAP THESE EYES ARE HUGE. FROMM 11 POUNDS UP TO 17 ALL OVERE THE WALLS. I WILL FISH THIS LAKE FOR EYES . NEXT SUMMER CHUCK AND I WILL BE THERE!!! LERNING THIS RESIVORES SECRECTS. I DONT CARE IF IT COST ME 1000,S OF $$$ IT WILL BE WORTH IT. HELL I MIGHT MOVE THERE THE EYES ARE THAT BIG!!! WILL GET SOME PICS FROM TRIP ON HERE SOON. TAKE CARE ALL AND SOLID SETS. KEN

NO MY GUIDE IS NAMED BILL. HE IS A FREIND OF MY DADS. HE HAS ACCESS TO SOME PRIVATE PROP, WE DO USE HIS JET BOAT. WHERE WE FISH IS ABOUT 100 MILES BELOW TWINFALLS. IT COST US 250 A DAY FOR UP TO 4 PEPOLE.

Good to hear you guys got into a couple of those big bad boys. Sounds like Salmon creek was good to you, at least as far as catching slimers go. I fished it a few years for eyes with no luck but I've learned a lot about eye fishing since then. Maybe we can get a couple of boats fishing it this summer at the same time, so we can learn the lake better. I know the back part of the lake has a lot of ridges that run into it that should make for some good fishing. I saw that gas station with the big eyes also so I know what you mean about big fish in that lake. Lets make some plans about hitting that lake this summer. WH2

This reservoir has been on my radar screen for eyes for sometime.
I would also like to join an outing to learn more about this body of water.
Maybe we could have a BFT venture to Salmon Falls Creek Reservoir - Maybe even get some group rates in Jackpot.

The more people we have the better and for you smallmouth guys, there are some huge smallies in this lake. As soon as we can make some plans I'll let you know, the camping was free the last time I was there, so thats another idea.

I WAS USING A 9 INCH RAINBOW THIS TIME WITH ANCHOVY SALT AND GLITTER SMELLY GELLY. I JUST TALKED TO UTAHWALLEYE ON THE PHONE AND THE PLANS FOR A TRIP ARE ALLREDDY IN MOTION. HELL YES LETS ALL GO ATACK THIS PLACE AND FIND THOSE EYES. DANM BIG EYES. APRIL OR MAY WILL PROBLEY BE THE TIME.
