farm pond fishing..

was out doing some recon today on the local waters and found a farm pond to take my boys ice fishing..
i did not think it would have safe ice but went to see anyway.. got there and went out about 3 feet on the ice and started a hole 1/2 way through i stoped i could see the ice was alot thicker than it looked.. went out to the center of the pond ans put another hole and and started fishing man them planters in there must be hungry. cought about 10 fish in about 1 1/2 hrs.. and missed a bunch more than that.. i'll have to take my boy's there this weekend some time i'll get some pic's as well..

it's was so nice out there i was in my T-shirt most the time i was there!!..

Wus up just wanted ton know how much snow was on the ice. Tryed ice fishing for the first time last week at the berry. And did pretty good but its not worth going up again.To much snow and a far hike. I would like to know where that pond is thaks. BIG-EZ out.

hey big-dude i'll send you a pm on that if you want to try it.. it will be kinda hard for you to find if you dont know the north sanpete area..but i'm sure i can get you there..
the snow was only 1/2 inch deep on the ice.. and the snow around the pond is about 3" deep.. that is way i want to take my boy's there ez on ez off and no slush..
