fished rockport today, kind of windy and the ice was real slippery.
we were about 100 yards straight out from the boat ramp in 27 feet of water. we only iced 4 perch and 4 bows.
about 10 to 12 other people by us. alot of people on the west side and by the dam.
caught the perch on whatta crickets with perch meat and crawler
the bows with powerbait.
the edges were alittle soft but after you get on the ice it's alright
ice where we were is 5 to 6 inches thick and clear.
