Strawberry Report

[KOKANEE]

Here is our report form the Berry yesterday. Sorry its a little late but this is the first chance I've had to get on the computer. The kids had monday off from school so I took a vacation day and we went to the Berry fishing.

Got there around 0700 and unloaded the snowmobile and headed over to Bryants Fork. We fished until 2:00pm and we landed/iced 32 fish between three of us. We were in 30ft. of water. All fish were in the slot limits two were rainbows. All fishes were released to caatch another day. We had a great day. HFT hooked us up with some crickets and boogers which seemed to be what they wanted. (thanks james).

Oh ya one quick story. The kids got AQUA-VIEW fish camera for Christmas this year. Its awesome what you see down there. Any way this one fish attacks our camera. He kept raming it with his head and the camera would spin around in circles and sway back and forth. I guess he was trying to pick a fight wih the camera. I should mention the camera itself is shaped like a fish. He must have gotten a head ache and then gave up. Its was hilarious.

We had a great time. Good weather,good fishing, good company, good times.

That must be my problem up there. I'm using too small of a jig. They want something as big as your camera!

Good to hear you did well. I've often wondered how long one of those fish shaped cameras would last up at Pineview with the muskies. I'd be worried about my camera getting eaten or at least chewed to bits. I guess we now know what Strawberry trout think about foreign fish species in their water.
