I'm also looking for the "Boating" options available at Deer Creek this upcoming weekend. Last Sunday on the way to the berry you were able to launch at the Island boat ramp and one boat was on the water - a thin sheet of ice was in the mid section that looked like the warm temps should have held it back or even gotten rid of it.

As of Tuesday when I drove by about noon the middle section of the lake was iced as well as rainbow bay, Wallsburg arm, and around the dam. You could launch at either ramp. There is open water out from the state park and there is open water from the island marina north/east to the provo river inlet and around the island.

nope deer creek is nto frozen over. open water all the way(except for the shallower bays). you can still launch at either ramp. ill keep yall posted on what the weather is like up here(i live in heber city). right now it fells like a good 50 degrees outside. so i expect some good open water on the creek for a while.

Went by Deer Creek an hour ago. Looked exactly like Bigcat described it. Ice would make boating tough, and ice fishing impossible.

I fished last Saturday at the State Park boat ramp and it was gated off. There were some patches of ice at the ramp so the rangers went ahead and gated it off. The island boat ramp was open last Saturday and saw three boats launching off.
