Causey report

[Fish-Dog]

The road to Causey is dry. No soft slush, no snow on the ice, 16" to 18" of ice and frozen slush, Blue skys, and lots of sun. Drilled my first hole at 7:10, lots of fish on the finder, it was a school of kokes. By the time I got my line in the hole the school was gone. It was the only school I saw all morning. I drilled holes all over the central and south area, only caught a few 10" splake. It was a beautiful day for fishing, not much of a day for catching.

Thanks for the update. The ice can become evil up there late in the season.
