welcome to BFT so you like crappie hu? Where do you ice some Crappie in utah any way. I have been looking and i havn't found a place yet.

Hey there are still some nice crappie in willard,So I'm going to tell you about the tecnique I use to catch a few,If and I mean If the water level comes back up at willard,the boat docks can produce some nice slabs,but you got to fish them the way I describe here,On all of the docks at willard exept the ones by the ramps at the south marina,there are long poles that hold the docks in postion,if you tie on small 1/16 oz. jigs on,color is red with the white tales,tube or twister tail styles both work,pitch them up under the docks right next to the poles and let them sink vertical,watch your line and if you see your line jump,set the hook,you may feel the tick,but I usally watch my line.if the jig falls and you dont get the hit pull it back up and repeat. I have caught quite a few that way,but when the water is up them new docks on the south side of the north marina will be great place to use this method.I have caught them there in the spring and early summer.then they seem to move out of there in summer.and a float tube is the best way to get in to them spots,if the slips are empty you can pull your boat in there and fish them.just another way to get a few.
