Berry on fire
#1
Fished out by Haws today from 8:30 - 1:30 we put 20-30 each on the deck, one of those truely incredible days. 30-40 ft deep, most fish a few cranks off the bottom some suspended. Paddles, boogs, cricks, (thanks James) tubes, white was the best.
Take your sunscreen! I forgot, again.

Thanks for the report! Sounds like you guys found the fish! I wish you would have sent a few of them over to Chicken Creek![Wink]

If it was anything like Chicken Creek, the ice ranged from 1-2 feet deep, slush wasn't bad, and I never walked through more than about 4 inches of snow on top. Much better walking conditions than the last time I was out there!

[cool]Nice report, hookmeup. Any big ones landed today? I need to get a wheeler or snomo so I can get out to unpressured places like that! That would be sweet. No noise, no people, just nice fresh air, and lots of anxious fish to be caught that haven't seen too many ice jigs this year! Congrats on a nice day!

hlmn, the ice is around 10" no sluch at all, easy going for the wheelers, only an inch or two of snow. All fish were in the slot 17"-21" fat and happy (untill they saw the sun). Lots of people, better get there early for a parking space. (maybe being sunday it won`t be as bad)

have fun!
