I felt you guys would like to see this publication.

Now comes the question, since we can see that all revenue from fee's are retained by the dwr for the dwr, who would feel better about slight increases to fee's or species state stamps or other fee's other states have put into place here?
I know, a can of worms here, but we can now put to rest the complaints about fee's going to the state coffers instead of to the dwr.

I agree that this could be a can-o-worms for some. It would be like the tax hikes recently voted in by the people for mass transit. They have tried habitat stamps/duck stamps in the past, but I think they got a lot of negative feedback from them. A specific water stamp might be beneficial if they would allow those with the stamp some form a special privelidge. For example a 10 dollar strawberry stamp that would allow you to fish with a second pole...still the same 4 fish limit, with the enforced slot, but you could have 2X the chance of hooking up. There would of course be no reason you had to purchase such a stamp, but having it would give you an extra perk. I personally would fork out the 10 bones. But I think a forced stamp for species or lake is not a good idea. Just my 2 cents anyways.

Well if that is the case then the dwr needs to start buying some winter ranger for our mule deer and elk heerds before they become developed and they need to improve on some of the habitat excisting in these areas to help sustain our big game through the winter hopefully they do, I don't believe there last statement about trying to keep tag prices down seams like they have been rising at a faster rate then other western states

I AGREE WITH A HABBITAT FEE FOR EVERYONE. THE SPORTSMAN PAYS FOR EVERYONE AS IT IS NOW. BUT I FEEL IF ANYONE USES THE HABBITAT THEY SHOULD CONTRIBUTE TO THE CAUSE... LIKE A LISENCE PLATE STAMP FOR HABBITAT. THAT WAY IF A MOUNTAIN BIKER ORE A BIRD WATCHER ECT, IS IN CONTRIBUTION TO THE CAUSE AND THE BENNAFITS... JUST 2 CENTS FROM A GUY THAT BELEIVES IN FARENESS FOR ALL..
