Went to the berry after work last night. Not much time before dark. Lake was almost empty. Fished directly east of the marina at the point in about 30 feet of water. Iced 10 nice cuts in about an hour and a half. I was hungry for fish, but all were slot-limit cuts. One measured 21 3/4", made me grimace, but back he went.
Was lots of fun anyway. Taking my wife and kid up Saturday.

Thanks for the report Fishhungry and welcome to the site. For an hour and a half you sure did good. What jigs and baits were you using? WH2

Chartreuse paddle bugs tipped with mealies, about 18" below a swivel. Clipped a spinner on the swivel as an attractant.

How hard did they get hit with the last storm? If the snow gets too deap the 4wheeler wont make it. I haven't heard if they got pounded durring this last storm or not.

at the marina it looked like they got 8-9" from the last storm. There were several fresh 4-wheeler tracks on the ice and they seemed to be moving fine. The ice is plenty thick! Dang near two feet where I drilled my hole.
