Welcome aboard cyberwiper! Utah lake is open water, but the LMB are still a little on the cold side for much activity. If you are up north, Willard Bay is also open. It has a few LMB, and some SMB, but the wipers are the fun ones to catch IMHO. Jordanelle has some open water, as well as Deer Creek reservoir. I also know they have some bass in the Kaysville ponds. Good luck.

Welcome to the board cyberwiper. All the *ponds* are good, just some better than others. Now that bass thingy, do we have bass in Utah? I guess that would be a Lake Powell thing. Just kidding ya, I haven't seen a bass since last fall. Maybe later this month if things keep warming.

[Wink] Hey C-dubya... Congrats on your promotion from Denver to "Gods Country" and on your induction to BFT-

I'm sure you'll find we all put our fish on the same way here as well... "one leg at a time".

Good luck- PB

Hi and welcome to the site!!
if your a bass fan you could not have picked a better state to not catch them in!! Utah is about the worst state i have ever seen at managing a bass fishery..there are some (not meny) places you can get some nice bass.. lake powell is your best bet.. utah lake has some nice LMB and white bass SMB are hard to come by there tho.. if you head down south to Quail Creek there are some good bass in there as well..
