[cool]Very nice fish, Ron!! You 'da man! What would you guess the big 26 incher weighed? Also, were you suspending the minnows below a bobber, or did you fish it off the bottom with a sinker? You've helped me make up my mind about Saturday. I'm definitely going out there now!

Nice fish!!! Do any of you Utah valley guys know where I could get a map of Utah Lake?? I'm thinking of making a trip down there but I'm not familiar with the lake at all.

Thanks.

well my best guess on how much the 26 incher weighed would be around 6 to 7 lbs
the 25 incher went around 5 lbs..

i was just putting the bait on the bottom and wait for a hit..let them take it for about 6 or 7 feet then set the hook to them.. then hope you got a good hook in them so they dont come off like the 4 i long lined today..

[cool]Thanks, Ron. One last question. Were you using circle hooks or regular bait hooks, and what size? That's the last question, I promise.

Sportsman's and many boating dealers carry maps of Utah Lake. Can't recall if I have seen them at Walmart.
