drove past the jordan river on winchester and stopped talk to a guy and he says hes been catching walleyes there..but he didnt catch any today so i dunno if i wanna try it or not..anybody knows some good spots along the jordan?? i dont wanna snag any suckers either[]

Why not? Those suckers are fun!!! Every year during the first week in April I would catch a ton of them on the upstream side of the 5300 S bridge. Snagging them could be fun, but I always liked to fish worms right on the bottom. Best of all, you can catch a year's worth of some of the best catfish bait anywhere in less than an hour! Just let the big ones go...the smaller fish have firmer fillets (if you can ever even consider sucker meat to be firm).
