Da Berry (4-2-05)

Decided to hit the Berry one last time this ice season. Made a wise choice there! We had a very nice day on the pond. The weather was absolutely amazing. Heck I had to strip down to my t-shirt. Couldn't have asked for a better day. We ended up with about 75 fish between the 4 of us. We caught fish on a variety of jigs today. The most productive was probably a white tube jig, but most everything we put down the hole caught fish. We were fishing back by Renegade in about 35 feet of water.

All of the fish we caught were put back to fight again another day. It sure was a great day to be out of doors.

Beautiful fish! Sounds like you had a fantastic day!
We didn't catch as many this weekend as we did last, but still had a good day. In fact, we didn't see as many fish. Especially those coming off the bottom. Most of what we caught were suspended fish.
Still hope to make one more trip ... can't get enough!

Hey Randy, I hear you on the ice gear. If the weather holds out and the slush doesn't become problematic, I may try to sneak one more trip in.

No kidding -- there's plenty of solid stuff, and unless a long term heat wave sets in it will be good for another couple of weeks.
