Went up to Willard tonight at about 6:00 pm. I coudn't believe the amount of people around the South dike all the way to the light pole. Didn't see many fish caught. I did manage two wipers to start the season. I think the good fishing is still out a bit. I am afraid that the storm for this weekend will put the fish down for a bit. Those wipers are sure finicky when it comes to bad weather. Jake

I checked out the north marina as I drove by on the freeway. The guys looked like they were shoulder-to-shoulder on the south shore of the marina. Probably fishing for crappie.
