I'm looking to spend my time with the wife and daughter over Memorial Day weekend. We haven't been able to get out much together at all this year and want to get the boat wet and while at it try some new waters. I've been toying with the idea of going down to Quail Creek of Sandhollow for a bit now and am also thinking of trying to get into some good Bass action while at it. Anybody have some feelings on this your take is appreciated.
Thanks
Topehaw
P>S. how about the Bass Spawn up at Starvation?

I was there on Thurs. (Starvation)but didn't even get a bit. I was fishing for walleyes but talked with one other guy and he had one follow him to the boat. Best of Luck!

My dad said its been really slow,at both lakes.
I talked with him on tue,the 5th.
A few things he did say over the years is brown colored lures, pumpkin seed and sometimes rainbow color when they plant the trout in quail creek.
the fish aren't moving into the shallows yet and are in deeper water
so try to vertical jig ledges, and humps.
good luck,FNF

hey topehaw i'll be at quail and sandhollow this weekend. i'll put up a post and let ya know how it was. i live in vegas and it's been pretty warm here for a good week and it looks like no fronts are comin' through so hopefully the bass will be a little more active then they were a couple weeks ago when i went. anybody have any opinions on what colors work best there? i usually use dark green senkos buts thats on jordanelle. i dont havt too much time spent on southern utah waters.
