I haven't fished the open or Invitational in years. Jig and pork is always good at Powell this time of year. What is the "secret lure"?
What is the entry fee now?
Good luck on the tournament!

You have most of the secrets allready!!! Don't you? I guess NoMoose doesn't wan't to share his secret.
I do have a good looking shad color for you to try. Except crawfish colors are usually hard to beat this time of year!
When is the tournament?

Its April 30th and May 1st. I tried to talk that silly Predator into going, but he has bought too much gear to afford to go.

Dude, I need to talk you about some of your flavors. I saw some yummy stuff you did for sportman's.

Give me a jingle! I did make a purple reaper with a chartreuse tail, that I was going to try on the walleye saturday, but the motor on the boat broke. and left me stuck in the marina fishing for crappie[Sad] Maybe I will have to give them to someone else to try!

sorry I had to run away for a bit. the secret lure is more of a new color for crankbaits I've started to make. kind of a glass shad look "kind of" my buddy hooked some nice fish with one a few weeks ago. most were stripers from the deep but he'd only get it about 2 feet deep before a hit. plus I'm working on a new color for my lipless shads that should kill smallies. "cross fingers as you know" hey how big of reapers you make? I know a guy in colorado looking fore some big one's for pike and musky.
