Check out this link to KSL. Whirling disease found in Springville hatchery. http://tv.ksl.com/index.php?nid=5&sid=201429

They say that the impact won't be too bad, but man it has been a long time since this state has been able to put its hatcheries at 100%! I was hoping that with the high water and hatcheries working at full capacity that some of the little rivers (i.e. American Fork Creek, NF of the Duchesne) would get the amount of fish stocked in them that they used to get 10 years ago.

Thank you Governor Mikey and all you loveable wonderful Leavitts for making this state a better place to live!

It should work now. They moved the story from the main links onto their "index" page. I assume that the current link will continue to work as long as they don't move the story again.

Because Governor Levitts family, back in the early days, are the ones who had the disease in there hatchery,in return they stocked the fish knowing about the disease, thus in return started this thing. So Thank them Levitts once again. PEACE!!!
