got in a little fishing today with loanfish started out at lindon harbor fishing the outside dike by the harbor entrance used whole suckers for bait between the two of us we caught 5 catfish up to 26" and a walleye at 24" missed several other fish about 1400 the wind ( holwing at that time ) and rain chased us off from there we went back to SLC and fished a creek ( not sure which ? ) at about 3000 S, and 300W. and caught two rainbow floating a nightcrawler under a float fished there for about a hour and moved to the jordan river at paul worman park ( 2300S. 900W. ) caught no fish there though
also saw a 22# cat caught today about 100 yards south of where we were fishing guy said he caught on nightcrawlers

[cool]Nice report, Chris. Glad you got some action. 22# cat-WOW[shocked]. Now that would be fun! The kittie fishin' should only get better from here on out! I'm going to go back to my favorite kittie spot next time, and bring my favorite bait instead of too big of red shiners like the other day.

those shiners shouldn't have been to big i was using whole suckers about 4/5" long just had to let them run with it a bit to get it in there mouth

I agree Chris . Not to big for a kitty . Heck I was using whole carp heads last year after i used all the meat up and catchin' cats on them . I did have one fish break me off on one head .

[cool]Yeah, I think you and HA69 are probably right. There was just too much pressure where Mike and I were at. I think if we had gotten to that spot 2 hours earlier we would have had better luck.
