The DWR report says: HUNTINGTON RESERVOIR (on the Wasatch Plateau, Sanpete County) The reservoir shoreline is beginning to open up. The DWR advises against further ice fishing this year.
Has anyone been past there recently? Sometimes the reports are not as accurate.I am in need of some tiger chasing!

i was headed up to Joe's Valley this morming tell i got up to see 2" of slush on my door step... so i would say if it's snowing down here in the valley i'm sure that huntington is getting hammered right now.
last time i was up there was a week ago and there was still 3 to 6 feet of snow up around the edges of the road.. still might be to soon for huntington..

[#505000]I lost a lot of faith in DWR reports when I talked to one of their agents one day. He told me he would usually go to Salem Pond and get a fishing report then cut and paste that report to match Spring Lake. He told me he was a little embarassed when he did that once and found out Payson City had drained Spring Lake two weeks before and there wasnt even water in it. [Tongue] [/#505000]
