I was honored to accompany Sockeyeslayer to the Gorge last weekend to hunt for kokanee. Well, Jared knows exactly where they are and how to get them, so there wasn't really much "hunting" involved. We fished about an hour and a half thursday, about 6 hours on Friday and another 3 or so hours Saturday morning. Lost count after 50 fish, but I'm thinking a very conservative guess would be 70+ kokes for the weekend.
As far as location, depth, colors, etc. you'll have to ask Jared, its up to him if he wants to reveal any secrets. I will just say that we fished between Lucerne and Anvil and used Shasta slingblades and lures.
Thanks again Jared for a wonderful weekend and the priceless mentoring!!!! Good luck in the tourney . . . slay 'em!

Nearly all the local stores at the gorge carry Shasta, its at buckboard marina, lucerne marina, and most of the gas stations/stores in Manila. You can also get it at Sportsman's Warehouse, OR just PM Sockeyeslayer.

I can say to you if you only allow that tunnel to get a little bit larger you will be very surprised at the new success that you will find. I will send you a P.M. with my favorite 4 set-up's that might change the way you think. I love helping those who want to help themselves!!!
Good luck Don
