I am planning a trip, not 100% sure where yet but Bullfrog, Lake Powell is in mind.
Anyone planning any trips over Memorial that might help me make up my mind?

I'd look else where to have a family get togather. Memorial day weekend is one of the worst weekends you can go.To many drunk wave makers on the water, and too many beer bashing partys on the land. One other thing it is around the clock.

I will be hitting Henrys Lake as it opens up on May 28 for the season. Things are looking good up there.

I'm gonna try to hit Henry's lake in Idaho and try to catch a few hi-bred lunkers on my fly rod!

Windknot and myself are staying at Jordanelle (hailstone) There might be some sites left available for reservation. Call Utah State Parks to find out. Our sites costed us $45 for three nights.
We're hoping the weather warms and turns the smallies on a little bit.

I'm going to spend some time at a lake most don't hike to. I'd say where but I'd have to kill you and feed you to the bears.

It looks like my first trip to Da Berry will be Memorial Weekend. One good thing about fishing there, is that it is big enough to share, and most of the drunks will be elsewhere.

[black]I'm staying home away from all the yahoos and will hit Willard a time or two. Be on the water early or late and try and avoid all the traffic. As I think about this, I'm just a little bummed about all the water in Willard. Sure, it makes the fishing great but man, remember all the boats out there and the rough water, and PWC, and dinks running over your lines? Remeber waiting in line in the afternoon to get on the water to fish the evening because the number of boats on the water had hit it's max limit? Thinking about that kind of bums a guy out![/black]

I'm heading for Pelican. Pelican won't be as warm but it will be nice enough.
Everything seems to be slow this year with the water warming. In 2 weeks Pelican could be good. We'll catch blue gill and bass all day Saturday then head to starvation to camp and try night fishing for walleyes. Sunday after breakfast will be starvation again and probably strawberry on Monday.
