Has anybody fished the pumphouse recently. I was planning on taking a return missionary down on Saturday night. With all this water how much is being released. I had great success at the pump house last year for every warm water species, hopefully it is the same this year. Thanks for the help.

If your talking just down stream of the pumps it wont be easy with the high water flow but its possible. The key is to find and fish the slower pockets, eddies and sand bars. If I had my ruthers and didnt mind fishing with a crowd (this weekend will be a mad house on all waters), I'd fish farther down stream near the highway bridge. The standard meaty baits such as carp, crawlers, sucker, perch or shrimp should do the trick for kitties. I'd suggest with the high water conditions to use plenty of weight to keep your offerings in place. Best of luck..
