Lake X report
#1
D-mack and I grabbed our toon’s hit the lake Friday night after three hours with out a bit, with heads hung low we decided to go be comforted by a cold brew. The next day was about the same so latter that evening we decided to try a small cove near the camp ground. We saw the bass jumping like crazy but we had left our fly rods at camp so I tried my luck with a casting bobber and a gold pistol pete . It was just the ticket but boy it sure does hurt to throw back so many 12-15 inchers . D-mack killed them on a gold Panther martin. To make a long story short the smallies are coming on but seam to be in the shallows.
Good Luck

Was great meeting you guys. The fishing was so slow I didn't even bother doing a day 2 on the lake so I spent the rest of my outing in Park city.

I only picked up 4 slimers.

Nice meeting you as well. I'd like to try the "nelle around father's day weekend. In your experience is the bass fishing going to be better in the AM or PM in about three weeks?

AM and PM. Early morning bite is always great, then again the evening bite is great as well. Really depends, if the water warms like I think it will it may be good all day. Wink
