We have been so busy this spring we have not fished hardly at all and when we finally got out this weekend it was really slow. We caught a few nice rainbows jigging tubes and bucktails tipped with perch meat- the splake had lockjaw. We only caught one splake all weekend. We also only caught a few small planters trolling. It looked like it was slow for everyone else as well. I guess the storm that dumped 6 inches of snow up there thurs. nite slowed everything down.[
] Water temps were about 43 in the am and warmed up to 48-50 by the afternoons - It was just fun to finally be out fishing despite the uncooperative fishies.
