[#505000]As I spend my morning [/#505000][#505000]watching the kid and not worshiping at the Church of the 7th Day Angler, I got to thinking about fishing and the quirky goofy stuff some of us do to improve our haul.[/#505000]

[#505000]For me it's the "lucky" desert camo boonie hat, and my Punisher T-shirt. When it comes to fishing I don't leave home without em'. I can get by without the shirt (especially if it's so nasty dirty it can stand on its own) but the hat is a MUST. It would be unseemly to go fishing without my lucky hat.[/#505000]

My kids always remind me to play the "fishing song" (Enter Sandman by Metallica). If we have a lousy day, I'm usually reminded that we forgot to play it on the way to the lake.
