Pelican (cold weather)

Heading to Pelican Tuesday, think two days of warm weather will bring some of the fish out of the deep? Wanted to float tube instead of take down the boat so did not want to paddle to far out.

What deep the deepest I have found is 14 feet.

14 feet is still deeper then 1 to 4 feet of water and around their beds and in the reeds. I am hoping not to fish 14 feet hence the question..

They are done with the spon, Look for water that is 7 to 10 feet and try sink-os and worms with little or no weigh so it will sink slow.

Thanks for the info. I go there about every other weekend and have a great (60+ blues and buckets) day everytime. The only thing different this time is that we have been very cold and only a couple warm days so was wondering if anyone has been down the last couple of days and if the cold water has moved them back deep.
