We fished the pond for a couple of hours tuesday evening. We got a few bluegill and one bass. We fished the area over by the parking lot between the 2 buildings. The water is high over there and the bluegill are still out a ways from shore. Surprisingly there wasn't alot of garbage to be found.

If there's one thing that I wish was different about Mabey is that there isn't much bank access. Good to hear that you got out and caught a few. Were there any size to them? The gills we have caught just haven't had much size to them.

I am new to the Utah area and was wondering if anyone could provide directions to Maybe Pond. I stay in the West Jordan area. Thanks

Mabey pond maybe a little far to go, but it's in clearfield, which is just north of Layton. It's behind charley charley's(a private club, for members only), and the lakeside bowling alley, just off of the main drag in Clearfield.

Thanks again Mateo. It looks like a nice size pond but I may try the Jordan river or something a lil closer.

There are lots of places to get catfish from the shore at UL - try the harbors first - they have the best access without having to take a hike through the brambles on the bank.
