Has anyone hit naughton yet this year? I am wondering if the launch is still operational. Last year they were tearing all of the cabins, store, basically everything out because thier lease ran out, and I'm wondering who or if anyone is running the launch now. Also how has the fishing been? thanxs MM

I swung through there in May. The old buildings are gone and the state has installed bathrooms and a boat ramp. I was there this weekend(6/18) too, but didn't go all the way up to launch, but there was a good steam of boats going up the highway. Sorry, I don't fish Naughton on soft water, so I don't know how the fishing was.

i was there in may and it has a concrete ramp. it looked like they were going to pour a parking lot soon. there was no charge when i was there. the water was too muddy to have any success fishing, but we did see quite a few on the finder. i imagine if the water has cleared it should be good fishing. let us know the conditions when you return.

yea, i will for sure let you know how it is. sounds like launching will be no problem, i just hope fishing is as good as it was last year. we caught 20+ plus rainbows all day long. thanxs for your help-MM
