Heading out after work to meet my dad at Lincoln Beach. We're gonna launch his canoe somewhere north of the boat ramp up towards the springs somewhere if possible. Everyone pray to the W Gods that it stays away tonight and doesn't foil our plot to subdue some nice Ks and anything else we can get our hooks into!

I hit LB last night. The lake was calm as can be. The fishing was a little slow but we did manage a 1 mudcat and a few pickups and runs that never held tight. I did see 2 decent channels caught. We were fishing off of the dike. If you are able and the springs are slow try and head over to mouth of the slough that is just south east of the end of the dike. I have always done real well over there. Good Luck and heres hoping you have enough weight in the canoe to keep the skeeters from packing you off.

[#505000]Went and invested some scratch in a Fishcat 9 this afternoon. I'm half tempted to get myself out there and join you. I'm just torn on whether I should go tonight or tomorrow. Amen on the mosquitos. Carry extra split shot!!![/#505000]

Man I'm obviously in the wrong business! Congrats on the new toy. You'll have to let us know how you like it.

I never made it out. At about 4:45 my dad called me and we cancelled it since there was gale force winds and rain. I'm glad too, cause all night here in Payson there was like 40 mph winds blowing.
