Tibble or Silver Lake flats
#1
Has anyone fished either of these two recently? I'm thinking about taking the kids up this afternoon and wanted to know how the fishing was.

I fished them both this morning. I got to Tibble before daylight. The water was a little cloudy and I couldn't get a bite on my flies so I went on to Silver Lake Flats. No one else was fishing Tibble when I left but a few were when I came back. I didn't stop to see if anyone was catching anything.

I probably got to Silver Lake Flats about 6:00. There were a few fish raising and I managed to catch 8. I had a lot of hits; few hookups. The only thing that they seemed to want was a black wooly bugger. They were 9-10" rainbows. There were three people bait fishing and I never saw them catch anything. The bites quit when the sun hit the water, so I came home.

We decided to escape the heat of the valley and headed up to Tibble. Started on the north side just below the parking lot fished here for about an hour, we got nothing not even a nibble.

The crowd started to clear from around the lower inlet so we head on down. With in seconds of the first cast my daughter had the first fish on. It was a nice rainbow for tibble we ended up with five total, the smallest was about 7" the largest was 12".
