Gorge 7/6

Was on the gorge yesterday,fishing from swim beach up to the pipeline then down the other side.Just kept making a big circle.The fishing was good ended up catching seven kokes and five macks.All the kokes were of decent size over 3lbs,the biggest mac might of went just over 5 lbs.Funny thing was i wasnt fishing for macs.but keep catching these little dinks anyway.I was fishing off downriggers on both sides about 45- 55 feet down and using green dodgers with a silver and red needle fish,and on the other side was using rainbow coloerd popgear(its called sunflash) with a neddle fish in the same color.

Both were catching kokes and macs it didnt seen to matter.Water temp ranged from 64-66 degs with a constant speed of 2.5mph.Was a great day til about 2 pm when the wind kicked up,so i went home.

Hey Don how ya doing,it was surprizing how many people were on the water,in the middle of the week ,but everyone streched out and we all had plenty of room.

Hey JT, doin' good here, how's bout yourself? Sounds like the growds werent to bad. I was up there a short time back and got swarmed by Koke trollers. I'm lookin' forward to a return visit tho', even without ice on the pond.. Of course Koke will be on the menu but Mac will be toppin' the list of targets. Its funny how I cant help but tap em on the knoggen with a little something to draw their attention..[]
