I hit Rock Cliffs in the tube yesterday morning. While I was there a guy drowned.

I fished past the boat this victim was on about 45 minutes before this happened. They were just fishing, there was no evidence of partying or reckless behavior. The next thing I saw was the patrol boat flying to where he went down. (when he went in, I was too far away to see that an incident had even occurred.) He and a buddy tried to swim to shore, but the area he got stuck in has a large number of submerged trees, and he got entwined in the branches. The divers had to untangle him to retrieve his body. He had no life vest. I guess the point is, be careful out there, and one quick lapse in judgment can have life altering consequences. Oh yeah, the fishing. It was fair, Rock Cliffs just got pounded with pressure yesterday, and the fish have moved from where they were the last time I hit it, but I got a few on the usual stuff.
