My nephew hit Tibble Fork on Wednesday, Saturday, and Sunday with good success each day. He fished from about 6 am to 8 am on Wednesday and Sunday. He fished Saturday in the early evening. He caught between 12-20 bows each time out. He said that he had hits on just about every cast. He was just using live worms as bait. Most fish are 12-14/15 inches in size, but a lot of fun to catch.

Just a side note. When you are fishing small water like Tibble Fork, don't fish with lures that you would use in a large body of water for things like Large Mouth Lunker Bass. 3 inch long top water lures don't work for 12 inch rainbows. Also, you might want to consider using a weight that doesn't sound like a cannon ball when you cast out. Just a few tips. Lol.

I grew up in Lehi and fished Tibble A LOT growing up. We always did best with small flies behind a bubble if we wanted to go artificial. If we used bait then worms with a small garlic marshmallow worked best (I'm talking the small mallows that you buy in the little bottles in the fishing department).
For the most part I agree with your advice about the size of the lure.
However, one day I bet my buddy that he could never catch anything in there with a banjo minnow. He took the bet and ended up outfishing me two to one. Believe it or not, they work there and it seemed like the bigger the minnow the better. We always caught bigger fish that way too. In fact, the only way we ever caught cutthroat in Tibble was while using the Banjos. You've just got to know how to fish them.

Thanks for the report. I live close to AF canyon and I like to go up to Tibble Fork and catch those big fish as well. I was wondering how the water clarity is? Last time I saw it it was pretty muddy. Thanks again.

I was up there about two weeks ago just to hang out in the Canyon and the water was pretty murky. My nephew said that it was pretty much the same when he was up there this weekend.
