Pineview again 7/21, and then---------!

Sparky and I went for my typical pm fishing in the Nr, fork in my tube. Was having pretty good fishing in the little cove I fish, about 15, when a big expensive boat with 2 adults (mom and dad?) and 7 kids putted in and thru out the anchor about 100ft from me. They then proceeded to jump in and swim thru out the bay. Well that killed it so I packed up and left.[mad] Used my standard quacmole reaper, weedless. Didn't catch anything over 13-14in.
Had a problem I usually don't have. Caught 3 nice ones in a row but each swallowed it all the way down into the stomach area. I hate that!!!!! I know none of em will survive and couldn't keep em because of the 15in law. In retrospect I should have cut my line and gave up my lure and hook. Sometimes I'm too cheap!!![unimpressed] Maybe the tigers will get em.
2 more pet peeves? Sparky had a good time though![]

232 views on this post and I'm the first to reply? Come on people be nice enough to reply to a post once-n-while. Thanks for posting your report Fred, too bad some people can't respect others. I'm sure they had no idea they were ruining your day when they pulled in so close to you but 100 feet is a little close. The DWR needs to make a few changes about that 15in rule, at least one under 15" should be allowed.

I think the DWR should make the same rule that Mantua has for the Largemouth... 6 fish but only one over 12 inches. That would be better than the way it is now.

Leaky, Sorry you had such rude guests in your little fishing nook. It never ceases to amaze my how inconsiderate people can be around someone just minding their own business trying to catch a slimmer.
