Hello everyone!

I just signed up as a new BFT member. Just thought I'd say hello. I recently moved to Utah from Idaho and have been fishing a couple times in Utah with OLD_COOT and scottieb. I look forward to getting to know more of you.

Nice fish, welcome abord. Hope to see you at a gathering or on the water. This weekend it's either Pineview for Muskies and smallies or Willard for Wipers and walleye.

[#588000]Great to have you aboard. Looks like you are going to have to break down and buy that out-of-state licence. You start adding more different types of fish to your list of catching and you love it here in good old Utah.[/#588000]

Thanks for the reply Ralph. You're right, I'm kicking myself for not getting the non-resident license. $12 a day is getting a little old. I just don't know if I'll be able to get out enough to justify the $70 for the season license now that we're so far into the season and I have such strange days off. It makes it hard to find fishing buddies when you don't know too many locals. I've had a lot of fun catching both the Wipers at Willard and the Smallies and Tigers at Pineview though. I think I'm hooked! [Smile]

[#588000]Oh, and there are a BUNCH of guys here on this BFT board that will take you to some of these great lakes around here. All the more harder to decide on the full $70 licence ... he .. he ... [crazy] [crazy][/#588000]

Welcome mikeyt,

Great looking fish ! Where in Idaho do you hail from ? I used to live in Custer County(8C).

Looking forward to seeing you on the water and hearing of your exploits. Maybe sometime we can hook up and fish somewhere.

Big macks at Bear Lake sounds like a lot of fun. I've seen a lot of pictures of those monsters. I wouldn't mind getting one of those on the line. I think it would be a good fight.

Bigfishrule

I work swing shift from 3 - 12. I have Tues, Wed, and every other Thurs off. It sounds like we might be able to meet up on a Wed or Thurs sometime.

Fishhound

I come from the Pocatello area. I just moved to Layton in January. I hope to put a face to these screen-names soon. [Smile]
